Quit trying to make it something it's not. It's a vegetable. Do you ever think maybe it just wants to be a vegetable, and not cake, or a sad imitation for mashed potatoes? Or pizza crust? Just love it for what it is; broccoli's ugly cousin.

    I have no choice! I do this. I even have to sprinkle some cheese on it.
    SHHHHHHHH. The alternative is conceding and feeding the damn kid mac & cheese every night or listen to him scream/cry/threaten to run away because vegetables are poison.
