I didn’t think I’d manage to lose even a lbs! But here I am. I know it’s small potatoes in the grand scheme of things... but nice to see something positive!

I have started tracking everything I eat. Adjust when I eat. Adjust portions. Avoid things that are obviously not good for me.

Every day I go to the gym for 30 mins cardio and 15-30 minutes of weights.
A few times a week I do a leisure swim.

The shower afterward 👍!

Awesome! Those first few pounds feel great!

Recommendation: Keep your your big weight loss goal in mind, but break it up into smaller, easily achievable goals. 5 pound goals worked pretty well for me. Didn't matter how long it took to achieve, what mattered was that I did achieve.

Thanks everyone! I’m down 17.4lbs now in a little over a month.

Was 269 now sit at 252. My first goal in this journey was to get to 250!

After that I’ll have to pick a new target.

I promised myself that if I got down a good amount I’ll allow myself to play hockey again next season!

Awesome work. Stay focused and don't get discouraged if you stall for a little while. I dropped 27 pounds and got stuck for a month! No biggie. I stayed the course and have now dropped another few pounds over the last week. Now I'm 80% to goal at 217.7. I started at 248.5 in February 2019.

    Thank you!
I’ve been enjoying the changes I’ve made in my lifestyle so far. Even though sometimes work has me exhausted (social worker) I still push myself to go to the gym.

18.8! Only 1lbs until my first goal of 250lbs!
Had to slow down a bit cause of a calf injury. Hoping to be back at it in a few days.

    It does.

    Clothes fit nicer.
    I move better.
My body feels better and not bloated and stuff.

Can’t wait to get this leg back from gimpy land to continue the journey!
