Post pregnancy weight loss

Options
Hey mpfers !

Slight history of my weight:

I was always pretty chubby growing up, and by the time I was 14 I was over 140 lbs (I was and am about 5’5”). I went on Atkins and lost 25 lbs over one summer. After that I slowly gained and ended up at 140 again last year. I started a retail managerial job right before I found out I was pregnant and so I only gained about 15 lbs through the entire pregnancy. I had my baby 2 months ago and am breastfeeding, and my weight today is 136.

I’m going to be getting married later this year and I want to get into the best shape of my life. Preferably around 108 to 115 range. (I have a small build) but I don’t want to diet and effect milk supply.

Any advice on this would be much appreciated. Thank you!!

General advice if you're exclusively breastfeeding is to eat at maintenance and let it create your deficit. For more specific advice for you then you should talk to your ob/gyn.
