Hi, all. I’m Ashley
This is definitely not my first attempt at losing weight, and yet again, I find myself back at MFP. I’ve lost weight twice losing 30lbs using this app, but this time I’m determined to change my lifestyle. My last go around I’ve made some lasting positive changes. I no longer drink soda (barring the occasional treat), when I used to drink multiple bottles of Coke daily. I drink tons of water every day, when I never used to. I’m more aware of how much I eat. But the 30lbs I’ve lost, I gained right back. My downfall - carbs & wine. I can binge on pizza, fries, any and every type of carb. I also love drinking sweet wine. That’s why I’m trying Keto. I’m one week in and have lost 5 lbs!! It keeps me focused, gives me guidelines, and keeps me away from my downfalls.
The only thing I’m missing is friends/support. I would love to add anyone who’s doing Keto or can give advice or even if you’re trying something different and just want to support each other to lose weight. Please feel free to add me

I'm keto. I started at 281 and am currently down about 47lbs. I generally try to keep it as simple as possible. Meat/protein of some sort, veggies, and some fat (often from the meat) at every meal. I don't think it's some magic cure, but it allows me to stay below my calorie goals without starving all day.2
