Sad about lunch and the gym / FLIP-FLOP

My how things change in 6 week. In the beginning I hated the fact that I had to stop eating junk at lunch and start eating my turkey sandwich on low calorie bread with an evil fruit or veggies. To make my life even worse I had to drag myself to the gym and exercise. Life was horrible.
Fast forward to today. I had a lunch meeting and could not eat what I packed. The healthiest option was a fried chicken salad and I had to skip the gym. I am totally down in the dumps about missing my regular workout and my bag lunch. To make things worse I have a dinner of unknown food at church tonight and I doubt it will be healthy.
I am definitely going to get a workout of some sort in at home once the kids go to bed and I am not stressing too much about eating bad for a day I just thought how funny it was that in such a short time my priorities have changed.

I know how you feel. I used to worry about not being able to eat as much cheese as I used to and controlling my portions properly. Now I make emergency runs to the grocery store because I ran out of bananas before the end of the week, and that's my prime afternoon snack. xD0

I have the same problem. If I miss my workout, I feel like a slob.
I was working out at home because I couldn't imagine trying to get a workout in at work, even though we have an awesome fitness center. In April of this year, I decided to give it a try and it really was a nice way to deal with stress. I no longer had to worry about getting out of the office by a certain time so that I could get my workout in at home. I could let the workout distract me momentarily from the stressors of the day. I too soon ran into the lunch time meeting that kept me from the gym. I've since moved my gym time to before "lunch" to beat the crowds and provide some flexibility around whatever meeting might pop up.
I can't believe that whether or not an employer had an onsite gym would be a concern of mine, but now it is.0
