HOW TO STOP BINGEING, HELP?

I do really well sticking with my calories, until after dinner when I think I'm still hungry so I'll just have something small, this then turns into several 'small' things until before I know it I've totally blown my calorie goal. Any ideas on how to prevent bingeing after meals? or how to just have small snacks without them turning into a binge? or how to deal with cravings? thanks.
