Anyone here into fasting or interested in intermittent fasting dry fasting etc?

I have a youtube channel up about my journey fasting and I like to research about fasting

I was vegan before but now I’m thinking of how in nature animals sometimes go weeks before a meal and I imagine thats pretty much how we used to be

Animals in nature who go weeks without food is usually due to food scarcity. Same probably followed with early humans. Why would you willingly want to replicate that?

I’m not aware of any pre-modern group of humans that ever went more than a day without eating. You’re making generalizations to excuse dangerous behavior.

Abstaining from both food and water. Don't do it.

We (humans) also used to only live a few decades. Maybe try eating healthy plant based options and striving for better health? Echoing @sardelsa comment if you have ED please seek treatment and best to avoid any WOE that require severe restriction/fasting.

wow.. Back in my day, we called fasting - lack of food and water, or not eating or drinking.
but if the OP wants to try intermittent fasting. The Muslim holiday is coming up. she can do it then.
