Vanilla Powder

I see a lot of recipes call for vanilla powder. Can you tell me what type of vanilla powder you guys are using? I appreciate it.

    Vanilla powder as in the kitchen spice cabinet type, or vanilla protein powder? If it's the flavoring, I'd just use regular vanilla extract instead (the powder is kind of nasty...). If it's the protein powder, I like the Optimum Nutrition one. I haven't had it for a long time, but I think it was called vanilla ice cream.
