My Aplle Health shows approximately 200-300 calories more in my daily Dietary Energy than I log in into MFP. What gives? Which application is responsible for these errors?

I don't think it can be called errors. They are probably using two different algorithms as there are several ways to calculate this. If you want to calculate your basic caloric requirements - also called BMR (basal metabolic rate) look for the formula and manually have that as your guide. Hope that helps.

Not quite. I’m logging in my food in MFP and it displays calories consumed. MFP and AH both have permissions to read and write info. Therefore, number of calories consumed is transferred from MFP to AH as Dietary Energy. Up until the last week there was no problem with displaying this info on both applications. For the last 5 days AH shows that I’m consuming in average 200-300 calories more then entered in MFP
