Hello everyone,
My name is Beth. I have been on a long weight loss journey and have hit a plateau. A big one. It's lasted almost a solid year. So I decided to switch gears and give this program a try. Any ideas for breaking out of a stubborn plateau would be welcomed. Thank you!

to lose weight you need to eat at a calorie deficit over time.
select a reasonable rate of loss (you look fairly slender already so do not select 1.5 or 2lb/week) in MFP. it will give you a number of calories to eat daily (on average at least).
get a food scale. weigh all your food. carefully log everything.
eat back exercise calories.
use a weight trending app, which can help show you that you are indeed losing over time even if it doesn't "feel" like it. our weight fluctuates daily which can make it hard to "see" the trend downwards.
be patient. be consistant.2 -
Thank you! I will definitely follow your advice!0
