Close to goal, do I change my calories?

I’m down to the last 10 or do pounds before I reach my goal. MFP has me at 1490 calories for 1.5 pounds a week. Should I change my numbers down to loose 1 pound a week or leave them as they are until I hit my goal then go into maintenance

with 10lbs to go you should select a rate of loss of 0.5.2

The general rule of thumb is to change it to .5 pounds per week which is a 250 calorie per day deficit. I have never been there so I am not sure what I will do but I assume I will buffer that 250 by a little (maybe an additional 100) so the margin of error on logging doesn't drag it out for an extended period of time. It depends on how many calories I have to work with when I get there.1

Do the above ^^^ purposefully before your body causes it anyway because of adapting to what is easily by now an unreasonable deficit.
Have you actually been losing 1.5 lbs weekly the last several weeks?4
