Adjusting the Doctor's Scale NO MORE!

My starting weight was 230. For the last six or so years, when I went to the doctor's and the nurse had to weigh me, they'd always start the scale (the non-electronic ones, with one weight that goes by 50 lbs and the other by the pound) at 150, and inch up...and up...and up... fed up with it, I got into the habit of adjusting the scale to 200 before they had a chance to put it on 150.

Today I had an appointment, and I didn't have to adjust the scale! ^_^ Granted, I still have a looooong ways to go, but it's the little things, right?

Ok, so I'm not the only one that HATES them starting at 150 and going up and up and up!

Congrats!! Some day that will be me, too.

That is awesome!! Congrats on a job well done!
  • Thanks, all! Maybe eventually I'll get to the point where they'll want to start it at 100~

Well, if medical school doesn't just make me gain more weight... (the irony, I know.)
