Looking for other LADA's or Adult onset type 1 diabetics

Hi all,
I'm looking to find a group of people with adult onset type 1 diabetes. I was diagnosed type 1 about 9 months ago. Im not on insulin yet, just a couple of medications. There is so much to learn and food plays a major role in this disease. Kinda hard when your a vegetarian who lived on sugar, carbs and caffeine to get through the day. And, I dont/can't cook, so I cant even comprehend making some of the recipes my drs suggested.
If you're in a similar situation, let me know. I'd love to compare notes!
