Hello there! I'm Gem 😃

I've been using MyFitnessPal on and off for a while now. When I've used it in the past I've seen some great results! However, at some point along the line, I always somehow lose my motivation to keep going 😫

I've never explored the community aspect of MyFitnessPal before though... maybe that's where I'm going wrong? 🤔

I wonder if perhaps linking up with other people on a similar path to me may be just be exactly what I need...

I have done the same, lost around 50lbs a few years ago then stopped using it. Have gained all the weight back and now can’t commit to it like I did then.

For some people all they need is a little motivation from others who are on the same boat. I’ve been with MFP for year, but only used the app to monitor calorie intake and the basic exercises I would do. I had no friends for the first 8 months or so. Then I decided to start friend requesting people and for me that made a difference. I had people to talk to and get advice from. I had people cheering me on when I lost a pound or 2, or remained under my calorie allowance and it felt good. Gave me that extra push to want to try harder because I had people rooting for me. Best of luck!

The community aspect is probably the best part! Welcome back Gem :)
