So I did no carbs for a week and lost three pounds. But if my BMR was originally for my old weight, shouldn't it be lowered to suit my new weight if I want to keep losing?

You aren't going to see a big drop in your BMR...your overall TDEE is going to go down though. Also, MFP will adjust your goal at 10 Lbs loss...3 Lbs in a week is largely water.0

You only need to recalculate your BMR when you have lost a significant amount of weight/inches. Good job on the 3 pounds, but don't worry about recalculating yet. Also, why are you doing no carbs? Carbohydrates are necessary for proper brain function. Just try to be balanced: healthy grains, vegitables, lean proteins, exercise and water. Good luck.0
