Losing Belly Fat

I'm looking to lose some stubborn belly fat. I've been trying that revolutionary watch what you eat and exercise thing for the past several weeks. I am down over 25lbs and seeing results in several areas, but not much going on with the spare tire. What has worked for you?

Unfortunately, weight loss occurs where it occurs. You cannot pick and choose where the fat loss comes from. You can do some weight training in and around the area so it is formed up a bit better as the fat loss continues, but you can't just "do 1000000000 situps and no longer have a belly".
Everyone carries weight differently. I too carry a lot in my torso. If I want that to go away, I need to keep losing weight and keep building up surrounding muscles.6 -
Yep, Scott pretty much summed it up perfectly. You can't target fat loss. You lose where you lose and the more you lose the better the chances of it coming off where you want. If your skin is stretched out it may never look totally flat like a person who has never been fat.2

are you taking measurements? you may be surprised at the inches changing. I can't see the changes as much as I can measure them, but yeah, that is the last place I am losing my weight. even my fingers and wrist are smaller.1
