Need advice regarding travel

Next week I am travelling to my home province of Newfoundland for 4 weeks. Right now I try and keep my calories at an average of 1200 a week. I need to lose another 90 pounds. We will be staying at three different houses during that time. I don’t have the control over the menu planning like I do here. We will also be eating out on occasion and there will be several get togethers. Should I just leave my rate of loss at 2 pounds a week and not freak out if I go over? Or should I reduce it to 1/2 pound a week or maintenance for those 4 weeks?

Whenever I'm not home I switch to "maintenance mode" but try not to completely abandon my habits. I eat when I'm hungry, stop when I'm full, and choose the kinds of food that I can easily log when going out. Stuff like sandwiches where I can log the ingredients separately or a cut of meat and side of veggies.

Enjoy your vacation. Whenever I go away or over the holidays, I go to "maintenance". When I can't weigh my food, I do my best to estimate in "cups", stick with higher amounts of veggies & fruit and lower amounts of sweets.
The most important part is to enjoy family time and to stay aware of your choices.
    Good luck and enjoy.
