Does MFP subtract fiber from carb count?

I’m eating keto, and I just scanned my package of baby spinach and it logged it at the whole carb count and didn’t account for the fiber in it... 🧐

You can search for Keto entries by using -fiber modifyer

Change your diary settings to show fiber instead of either sugar or sodium. You will then have your carb and fiber counts available at a glance for quick subtraction.3 -
Ok thank you so much for the replies! So now I guess I’ve been REALLY good on my carb count lol1

MFP entries are primarily user added (with the exception of certain entries from the USDA). Therefore, the entries tend to be whatever is on the package, unless the user creates a special "net carb" entry. Package information in the US and Canada is total carbs (fiber is included in the carb count), but package information in most other countries is net carb. So whether the MFP entry is net carb or not depends on the particular entry you choose and what country's packaging it reflects.6
