Okay -- here's the background .
I'm 5'0 just barley ... CW:130 had been at steady 125ish for 3 months before summer.
In these past three months I have done WAAAY more exercise than the beginning of the year. I would run, bike, walk everywhere 3-6miles DAILY.
In mid July I went camping 2 weeks, I ate like a pig.
I came back and snapped right back Ito my same routine . However I had gained 2 pounds and I figured going back to my routine I would be fine.
NOT. I worked out but no matter what I wouldn't loose weight. I decided to drop my calorie intake to 1,300 . Nothing worked. I dropped my intake to 1,000 . I lowered my workouts, I did some cardio but walked 5x a week my usual.
Now I'm at 1,000 however I usually meet y requirements by 850ish calories and I feel FULLL.
Another thing -- I can go 8 hours after breakfast. ( whole grainy toast/ 2 figs / .5cup blueberries/ green tea w/ soymilk ) and still be full?! But Then all my hunger gets me around 8pm??? Is it bad to intake my last calories after 8pm? )): help!

You can take your calories in at one sitting if you want, time of the day doesn't matter. Find a way to up the calories a bit and you'll likely feel a more normal amount of hunger. At least 1200.
Just try adding some fats to your toast, or make your figs and blueberries and soymilk into a smoothie with some coconut oil or some other fat source.0 -

For how long did you keep your caloric intake at 1300? What about 1000? I don't really know what your caloric intake should be (and I'm not going to pretend to know), but maybe you didn't give it enough time to work?0 -
hmm...I think 1,300 cals I've been at for from July 19th to beginning of August ? The 3rd
And 1,000 almost for a a week.0 -
Yum! That sounds good, however I usually have to eat my usual breakfast in 2 parts because I get full quick?
This had never happened to me )):0 -
In my opinion, dispite what people will say, 1000 cals is fine my daily cals sit between 850 and 1000 per day and im doing just fine. I am 4'11 so also a shorty and for our height it is ok. people do not take height into consideration when it comes to the cals we should consume, aside from the fact we may be overweight or whatever underneath we are small/little and therefore do not need as many cals. People can argue with me and have their own opinions, this is mine and it works for me, everyone is different and what works for one may not always work for another, you need to do what is right for your body.
People say I eat too little, but if I ate 1200-1400 cals per day I would gain weight, no matter how clean and healthy my diet, this is the way my body works. Dont feel like you have to meet everyones expectations on numbers, its your body and only you know how its feeling.0 -
It can take over a month to see results from a change. When you were eating at 1300 calories were you eating back your exercise calories? The way MFP is set up you log exercise and eat back the burned calories. It keeps your deficit in place.0

Eat 2 tbsp of peanut butter, boom, you're over your goal. Or a couple nuts, a tbsp of oil, a piece of chocolate. You can force any of those down, I'm sure.Another thing -- I can go 8 hours after breakfast. ( whole grainy toast/ 2 figs / .5cup blueberries/ green tea w/ soymilk ) and still be full?! Doesn't matter when you eat.0 -

I'm a fellow shorty. Weight has a lot to do with it-short people who are not overweight will weigh less on average than a tall person who is not overweight. But while OP is not heavy, at 130 lbs, she can (and likely should, with no medical complications) eat more than 1000 calories a day. I don't know your weight, but unless you are very, very thin as well as short, you should not be gaining weight on 1200 calories. Have your doctors looked into that?0
