    What a great post. Sounds like you did it right. Being heavy adds to the challenge. Having lost weight makes it more fun. Here's to the first beautiful run at goal weight...in 2020 :)

    Nov. is perfect @grimendale that's about 20+ weeks. Do you have some support/guidance/coaching/training plans or any some such? Do you load your workouts into your MFP daily calendar? What's the plan?

    I use the Nike Run Club app for creating a plan and tracking it. It has a great custom option to enter your distance, race day (up to a maximum timeline), and current pace, and it creates the plan for you. It does a nice combination of speed and distance work. I definitely recommend it.
    I do log my burns here, typically three runs a week. I've got an 11k run tomorrow per the plan.
