i’ve decided it’s time i use this app in the way its meant to be used.

for a section of my life i was addicted to the caloric content and macros of food— leading to significant, unhealthy weight loss and severe digestive issues. i used this app to manage my choices in an obessive manner and let each gram define me.

i have been recovering from an eating disorder since last year. while guilt is still associated after large meals and snacks, i’ve seen so many significant improvements in my life i never thought were possible. i have energy, i can walk up stairs, i can exercise— i’ve noticed restricking food, actually, restricts me from an enjoyable life.

fitness is still important to me. fitness isn’t starving your 5’7 self to 98lbs. fitness is yummy foods in moderation and listening to your body.

i hope to continue an active lifestyle redownloading this app. i hope to mantain the healthy weight i have now reached.

    Hi Lou
The reason i chose not to continue using this app in the past was because I was doing similar to what you were doing. I am also now back and happy to see that someone else is being awesome and not letting the app dominate where they go. Feeling good is more important than looking was is desired. Stay curly!
