Diet Plan for Newbies

Hi guys ! I’ve recently started my fitness journey and there’s a lot that I don’t know that’s actually quite overwhelming . Although I’m very motivated to improve myself right now it can be quite challenging when you don’t have the proper knowledge about this stuff . I want to gain and grow a more fuller as more toned butt area . For that I need to eat more protein and carbs and increase my calories . I’m 5’5 and 124 pounds . But the problem is that I also want to lose weight just a little bit on my stomach and achieve abs and also lose weight on my arms as well as my inner things ! I know it’s a lot lol so there’s a lot that I want to gain on and lose as well . The problem is I have no idea what the proper diet for this is . If I increase my calories to grow my butt .. won’t the fat also distribute to the areas that I want to cut down and lose weight on ? This is probably the most challenging part of this all for me . I confided in a trainer but she charges $1000 !

    It sounds like you want to look at recomposition instead of gain/loss?
    If you don’t get responses, try posting for recomp advice or something in the title?

    I have similar stats and goals as you! I am currently eating at maintenance cals, making sure I hit my protien goal each day (120g) and lifting heavy 4-5 x per week. This was advice I was given to change my shape and build muscle since I am a healthy weight.

    This is my first re comp attempt and I am on week 4, feeling great. There are lots of calculators online that will help you figure out maintenance cals and your macros!
