Is Norway vegan food friendly? Tips please

Hello 
On Saturday I go to Norway for a week. I'll be visiting Flaam, Alesund, Stavangar & Bergen. I don't want a nasty shock like when I went to the Czech Republic & had to live off bread & crackers 😢. They didn't seem to understand the concept to whoever I spoke to there.
