Hey all I'm glad to be here. I have been having severe medical problems and have been struggling really bad with weight. Iam looking to not only lose weight but to lower my high cholesterol and just eat healthy in general. I suffer from a thyroid problem and until my doctor contacts me I'm trying everything I can to lessen the suffering. It has been really rough. I'm trying to make several changes and counting everything I eat and drink is part of it. Thank you guys for being here.

    Eating healthier, drinking more water and being more active are all great things for your general health and often times lead to improvements of medical conditions (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes etc.) Focusing on your health and feeling better are the best ways to stay motivated. What better motivation than knowing you'll feel better and be able to live a more fulfilling life?

    Ditto this. Sometimes it takes our world to get rocked to see how important it is to take care of ourselves. Focus on your health, the rest will come along. Good luck to you. Keep us posted on how you are doing.
