Any tips about when to go back after you’ve been sick?

Hi guys,
I’ve been sick as a dog twice in the last 2 months and it sucks so bad. I am still sick and itching to hit the weights. It happens just when I feel like I’ve made a breakthrough and made some gains. Does anyone have any tips on how to go get back in there without the risk of killing yourself again? Any advice on foods to eat while you’re sick as well? Thanks so much
