So I’ve recently taken a break from stepping on the scale because I felt like I was obsessly tracking. Two months actually. This morning I finally stepped on the scale and while it wasn’t the best I had lost 2 pounds. While I know that I could have done better I also know that I have been working out and tracking my calories. While I may have had a few none great days I enjoyed the last two months without over restricting and over anilizing the scale.

Two pounds is more than zero pounds. If it works for you and your life, keep it up! Some people find it difficult to weigh often, so don't feel compelled if your current strategy is working better.9

I think you've done a great job of balancing your life with your weight loss goals. The key is in the bolded, that's a formula for life-long weight management. Don't let anyone tell you how fast you should lose or how you should do it, you are doing exactly the right thing.12 -
That's great. It's so important to find an approach that you can be happy with and stick to, and that doesn't add stress to your life. Congratulations!3

Progress is good and if you're losing in a sustainable way that makes you happy, then that's the best kind of progress. Good for you.
