"What about Bob?" Picture this...

If any of you have seen the movie "What About Bob" staring Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss then you'll remember the scene where Bob goes sailing. That's exactly how I felt at the gym yesterday....strap me to the treadmill and let me say "I RUN, I RUN" Lol
Many of you will not consider it running but hey it's a start. Got up to 3.5 mph on the treadmill several times for about 2 minutes each time. Total cardio time was 35 minutes. When I backed it down to walking I went back down to 2.5 mph.
Of course there was a big muscled guy on the TM right next to me showing off and going fast but he was doing sprints and only went for a very short burst a few times. Impressed myself that I was still running when he wasn't. Oh the games we play. Lol
Anyway that's my success story for this week. (especially considering I am working on dropping about 70 pounds and approaching 58 yrs. old in January)
Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Had to toot my horn. Toot! Toot!
Headed back to the gym today for more cardio and upper body.

Good for you I am right there with you. Just added my first weight to my (not objectively heavy) deadlift and I am apparently now stronger than 3% of female lifters my age (54) and weight. haha. Oh well I am happy with it.2
