I could not help but notice that many people rely on prepared, frozen, take-out foods so I decided to start the thread because I am an avid cook and a busy, working mother of 3 with a very demanding job. So all the recipes are: 1) easy to make 2) with readily available ingredients 3) not time consuming. I will be posting these as I come up with them. Here is the first one:
Chicken in basil tahini yogurt marinade:

For the marinade:
1 cup of fresh basil leaves
1 tbsp of tahini
1 tbsp of greek yogurt
1 garlic clove
Juice of 1 lemon
salt and pepper to taste

Blend all the ingredients.

Pound 1.5 lbs of chicken breast, and pour the marinade over, keep in the fridge for at least 24 hours.

I cook them in the oven, using the perforated tray with a solid tray underneath. I brush a tiny bit of olive oil on the perforated tray. Takes 15-18 minutes at 400 degrees.

My easiest recipe is a chicken breast with poultry seasoning and Italian spice thrown on the grill, with a side of salad. Or rice.

Alternatively a teaspoon each of salt, garlic and rosemary (or whatever green spice, I like basil too, or a mix), half a teaspoon of pepper, and two tablespoons of oil. Mix, coat a chicken breast, use the remainder to toss some chopped potatoes and carrots/broccoli/cauliflower, put on a pan, put in the oven at 425 F for 30 minutes.

One pan meals are a lifesaver.

    1) It's really kind of you to be willing to take the time to post these recipes. But there are millions of recipes available on line. I don't think people are relying "on prepared, frozen, take-out foods" because they don't know how to google.

    2) This is the food and nutrition forum. There's a separate recipe forum. You would probably find more interest if you posted there.

And here's the obligatory prepared/frozen/take out foods aren't evil and neither are the people who use them for convenience or if they don't want or like to cook response. :)

(I know...no one used the evil word but me.)

Now, my easiest and only actual recipe is a chicken thing I make in the crockpot that has yet to poison me. Take boneless skinless chicken breasts, add some water, and sprinkle on whatever seasoning. Cook on high for 3 1/2 hours or 8ish on low (I've only done high).
