So my goal is to lose weight. I’ve been eating in a defecit for 4 weeks. I haven’t seen major results yet. Last week I started carb cycling. So far it’s all good. Today I messed up though. I ate like 4000+ cals. I feel so stupid and regret it. But I’m not too bothered about it. I just wish I didn’t do it. The food I had wasn’t that bad. I had oats, eggs, bananas, kit kats, rice, chicken, chocolate biscuits, Crisps packets, bread, 400grams of Greek yogurt, slice of pepperoni pizza. I just lost control. It wasn’t like a binge or anything. Ugh I regret it!!!!!!! Right now I feel so uncomfortable . Bloated and stuff...

You lost me. This makes no sense.

Sorry, I meant I do regret it but not to the point that I want to give up and stuff. I lost control cause I didn’t care when I was doing it.

Spend no more than about 5-10 minutes thinking about the circumstances that may have contributed to it happening, and planning how to avoid a similar situation in similar circumstances in the future. Rehearse your new plan a few times vividly in your head to cement it in place.

Then let the whole thing go, and get on with life.

You can't unhappen it, you can only learn something from it. It's no big deal - really.
