Hey everyone. New here! This last February I started my weight loss journey after ballooning up the pounds due mainly to depression and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome that oftentimes renders me unable to move for days. Exercise is a *kitten* for me often times causing my muscles to feel like they been injected by poison. So everything I do is a slow process. Yesterday I went on my first hike in 10 years for 7 miles and though it was exhausting and at times I wanted to quit it was worth every painful step on the uphill climbs as the hike winded along. It’s a fare cry from the Ironman training that I was able to do 12 years ago before the I got sick with this disease but I’ve learned to take just as much pride in the smaller achievements as I did then in the larger ones. I guess either way it’s all about what we make of this life we are delt with and how we choose to live it. Say hi, I’d love to hear your story!
