    1. Green tea doesn’t boost your metabolism.
    2. No food boosts (or kills) your metabolism, it is what it is.
    3. How do you think you make green tea if not by adding green tea bags/sachets to hot water?

If you don't like green tea as is... then you are going to hate a cup with 4 sachets steeped in at the same time. I love green tea and I wouldn't be able to stomach it...

    What they said up there.

4 bags of green tea in a cup? Gross.

This is a summary of some studies on green tea and metabolism. The short version is that if it has any effect it’s a very small one and not different from anything else that contains caffeine. Even the most optimistic study found an effect which is less than the calories you would take in by eating a small cookie, or the calories earned in fifteen minutes of exercise. Other studies found zero effect.

However, green tea may have other nutritional benefits. If you’re determined to consume it despite hating tea, you could get some tea powder and mix it into a smoothie or something. My inclination would be not to bother - there are lots of healthy foods in the world, stick to the ones you enjoy eating.
