I have made a goal to never make it 100 lbs and was heartbroken to know that I went over!

    What?

How tall are you that 100 pounds is a goal?

And 1.4 pounds could be any number of things related to inflammation, sleep, hydration, salt, travel, hormones, exercise, etc.

Um how tall are you? 100 pounds is very low for an adult human, regardless of height, but if you are over 5 feet, that would make you underweight.

For someone 5’1, me for example 100 lbs can be quite acceptable. (98 would put me at the lowest for a healthy BMI)

My maintenance range is 100-105 and has been for 10 years after losing a 30lbs blip.

Most of my life, 15-45+, before the blip, I was around that weight too.
(Couldn’t tell you exactly because I never weighed myself, but my clothes always fit)

It isn’t a good weight for all, but it is for some.

@Kitty1576, it could be just water weight. Do ensure you are maintaining a healthy weight for your height and build.

    Cheers, h.

There's a difference between having an acceptable weight of 100-105 and "promising yourself you would never go over 100 and am heartbroken that you did." The latter shows a strong likelihood of disordered eating.

I hope you are very short and 100 pounds is within your healthy weight range. Otherwise, your post is very concerning.

Also, hopefully you are an adult. If you are younger, your body’s needs are different and you should not be using this site.
