I get married in April 2020, and the battle to lose the excess weight has begun 12 months previous.
I’m currently 295lbs/134kgs/21.1st and aiming to lose approximately 5 stone through diet and exercise.
I use Apple Watch and MFP currently.
I’m 38, live on the Wirral near Liverpool.
I’d love to have some additional friends on MFP to motivate and support the journey.

Having a goal is the most important thing in my mind, because whenever you are having a hard time or demotivated, think about how you will feel on your wedding day if you know you have (or have not) done everything you could have to reach your goal.
Make MFP your friend, my friend. I also highly recommend buying a food scale, and some measuring cups and measuring spoons because I think most of us hugely over estimate our portions.
