After being a lazy bum for the last couple years I’m finally back on track with macros and starting 531 all over again. Hands down the best program I’ve found for strength and was wondering who else might be running the same program

I wouldn't recommend 5/3/1 to anybody. There is much better templates out there for the majority of lifters. If you enjoy it cool.2

I did 531 for over a year and was having good progress. But my body was getting beat up from it so bad I ended up having to change to something that did more hypertrophy.1

I have been doing it for quite some time. My numbers are respectable and I will keep going for as long as my body and mind let me.
I have had a couple of setbacks due to illness or just not being able to get in the gym so I just adjust my numbers and go back.
Some days I go in and just do the prescribed lifts and call it a day, other days I do joker set after joker set or switch to FSL, or maybe both. I like the options depending on how I feel.

I take it you're not taking about Highway 531 near Arlington.1
