Gym in the morning or night?

So, I’m going to start incorporating cardio and weight training in my weight loss journey to get better results and accelerate the fat loss, now my question is, does it matter what time of the day you go to the gym? I would love to go to the gym really early and get my training out of the way, but I feel as if I would need to go again because I did it so early. What time do you guys go, does it make a difference?

It doesn't matter. Whatever you're more likely to do.4

The best time to go to the gym is the time that fits your schedule best and you feel the best doing your workouts. I am not a morning person, so I prefer the evenings. But you may be different. Try both and see which one your prefer.4

Makes no difference, train whenever works for you.3

It’s entirely personal preference. Note that if you are using MFP’s calorie goal, then you eat back exercise calories and do not use exercise to create a larger deficit. Exercise is for health and fitness, not faster weight loss.3

I do both. On work days, I do my cardio first thing and then hit the weights after work.0

Whatever time you'll be able to fit into your schedule, stick to and enjoy. Really does vary for everyone.0

I exercise at home on my Bowflex Max Trainer so not a gym, but a few months ago I switched from doing it in the evenings after work to super o'dark:30 early in the mornings. I wake up around 3:30 and pop a caffeine pill to get the blood pumping, otherwise it would be impossible. While that's hitting, I eat a protein bar. For me, it was difficult to switch to mornings but it's nice knowing the evenings are free to relax!0
