Welcome! Set your account up here with a goal to gain weight and mfp will give you a calorie goal. Then log your food every day and eat those calories.

Yes, I have been doing protein shakes. I have a good appetite but I don’t gain weight!! Tomorrow I am going to get on a scale and see if I made a difference over this past 2 weeks.0

Depending on where and how fast you want to gain weight, it’s best to create a meal plan that includes 5-6 meals a day, they don’t necessarily have to be big meals, but high in protein, but also a little higher in fats as well, you want your body to start to burn fat for energy, but store proteins for bulk weight! Keep kicking butt!2

I'm trying to gain weight too! I'm 5'5 and only 100 pounds. I agree it's hard too eat so many calories in a day. It doesn't seem like there is enough time.1

I am 5'6" and I used to weigh 109 lbs. I stopped doing aerobics and started lifting weights instead. I have found that I have to eat more than one serving at each feeding. For example, I blend or eat 2 servings of oatmeal with a scoop of protein powder and sometimes still add Karbolyn. Or I eat 2 servings of oatmeal with a serving of raisins. I get 135 grams of protein per day, about 300 carbs and about 65 fat. I was able to reach 135 lbs before I rode my bicycle across oklahoma and lost some weight. Combine servings and lift weights so you make muscle and not fat.
