am i really burning this many calories?

I use another website which gives me a work out plan each week.
Today's workout consists of doing 5 exercises and repeating them 3 times, the exercises consists tricep dips, crunches, step jumps and lunges.
It says i burn 550 calories and it just seems a lot and i want to note it down on here but i'd rather think im burning less than more

Can anyone help??

    That's probably an average for those exercises and you will burn more or less depending on your level of fitness and your weight. The only way to know for certain is to invest in a heart rate monitor. I don't have one, so I always leave 100-200 of my exercise calories uneaten so I don't go over. As you said, better a little under than a little over.
