Hi.
Im new! I now only have about 10lbs to lose. I joined slimming world and lost 5lbs in 2 weeks. But now the scales will not budge!

So my question is what is most successful for not very much to lose.

I dont really like the idea of "free food" on sw due to portion control and bloating, but for similar reasons i like it because i dont need to weigh anything!!

Thanks in advance for suggestions

Free food may not be a great idea for you because you are so close to your goal weight that it won't take much to put you at your maintenance calories which means you would not lose weight. You need to be trying to lose about .5 pound per week which gives you a daily deficit of 250 calories.

The scales will likely not move quickly for you one way or the other because your normal body weight fluctuations will mask fat loss. Some of that first 5 pounds you lost was probably water weight.

Either way you go you will need to be in a deficit. The benefit of CC is that if you weigh everything and log accurately you are far more likely to be in a deficit and making progress even when it doesn't show up on the scale for long periods of time. If you go with an alternate system weight loss is entirely possible but so is spending weeks or months eating at maintenance because you don't really know.

Thank you. That makes a lot of sense actually.
