Anyone in NZ or Aus ever used Edmonds Golden Buttercake mix?

Hey guys! I know it's a long shot, but I'm looking to make a birthday cake this week and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how Edmonds golden buttercake box mix is? I'm not entirely sure what butter cake even is, but it just looks richer than the vanilla cake mix. Is it a mix you can use for an iced birthday cake? And is it decent?
If not does anyone have a simple, moist cake recipe? I prefer not to use separated eggs or buttermilk but I'm open to it. I know brown sugar and yogurt can help but I'm not a huge baker.
