4 day split

Hi guys,
I've been working out doing a 5 day split routine for a few months on. Hitting each body part with 5-6 excercises each day.

I think I'm possibly under training though only working out each body part once a week so was going to change to a 4 day split routine

Upperbody
Lower body
Cardio
Ect

My question here is if I'm going to be working shoulders chest biceps triceps back in one workout, how many excercises should I be aiming for for each of them without sessions running really long

A 4 day upper/lower split working all muscle groups 2x per week is good. Instead of making one up, look at P.H.U.L. It is very well designed.
