Ready to get back in shape!

Hello, I am back to try MFP again! I need to be more accountable primarily regarding food.
I am 30 years old and live in Michigan. I am looking to lose about 35lbs. My biggest struggle is with bad eating habits and binge eating. I already had been going to the gym 4-5 days per week for about 7 months now, but it's not doing anything to counteract binge eating and that post-30 slowed metabolism. I am back at my highest weight ever after losing quite a bit from 2014-2016 with diet, exercise, and sobriety. I am still sober but got lazy with the other 2. I was in the best shape ever in 5/2016 when I ran a 10k and want to get back to that shape, but I have been having shin splints for months which are halting my running progress and forcing me to do different workouts.
My diet routine and goals: low carb, cutting sugar. Aiming for 1200-1500 calories max per day with less than 100 carbs; I just started tracking so I'm not certain on numbers yet. I usually eat multiple smaller meals during the week at work and 3 meals on the weekends. I go out to eat maybe once per week and very rarely eat fast food. My vices are anything sugary/ candy, chips, and coke zero.
My fitness routine and goals: I go to the YMCA 4-5 days per week. My favorite classes are cycling (45 minutes) and Les Mills CXWorx (30 minute core strength class). I am for 45-60 minutes of exercise and I always shoot to meet/ exceed my 10k step goal per day. On days that I don't do classes, I do interval running/ walking or cycling (indoor and outdoor). I don't like running and now it disagrees with my shins, but it was such a great weight loss tool previously!
Happy to make new friends and take advice!!
