Hiya, I’m Kaspars.

A little bit about myself. I have always been quite calm and relaxed untill last year when I had a mental breakdown. I suffered from panic attacks, anxiety and insomnia. The point when I realised I had to go and see the doc was when I didn’t sleep for 6 days in a row. This stress came from too much pressure from college, work overload and I also had to manage family life with 2 kids. (Still dealing with it). One of the things which definitely helped me was gym and exercising. Now I have decided to take it to the new level and will start my PT course so I can try and help other people to get to the better place mentally and physically.

I know some might say I am just moaning, but I just decided to talk about it and overcome my insecurities. Share them as it helps to get rid of them. Also want to let you know that I’m here to listen if someone is in need.

  • Kudos to you. I hear what you are saying. I have lived in 7 countries and I think everyone in America is so stressed one way or another that they are only a heartbeat away from a breakdown; and in This country, there's issues with acknowledging mental health is just that - health that needs assistance.
    I'm back a yr after living a yr in an Asian country where edema was the tip of the iceberg ( and now I'm super heavy). After a year of testing, doc's just found the myriad of misc. in my system. I'm discovering the challenges of weight loss. Wishing you well. Linda
