New beginnings - hi!

Hi - well its day 1 (again) but this time is it. I'm keen to get support (and give it!). I'm 55 and finding it so much harder to maintain motivation but I need to do this for so many reasons. I would love to lose at least 16kgs (35 pounds). Is this possible by Christmas do you reckon? There is so much conflicting information about calorie counting as a weight loss method but I know this gives me more freedom of choice than some others so let's hope it works!!

Welcome to the community!
Personally, I find small goals easier to stay motivated by. They are more reasonable and attainable.
Calorie deficit is really the best way to go. Have you read or heard otherwise?
Good luck!0
