How many cals should I be eating a day?

I'm so confused with all the different apps. How many cals should I be eating to lose 1-2lbs a week? I'm 263lbs 5ft 6inch and female. In my 30s.

Hi there, there are alot of online calculators that will help you determine that but right here on My Fitness Pal, if you go into Goals, and then click on View Guided Set up, it will walk you right through it. It asks questions about your current weight, goal weight, life style, etc. Hope this helps.3

But bear in mind that what MFP calculates will be the net calories you should eat per day. If you exercise, you should eat back some/all of the calories you burned so that your net calories are what MFP allocated you.
If you 'Search' on this site for your question, you'll find other people have asked the same sort of question - and there's lots of helpful info from people far more experienced than me.4
