Calories in vegetable broth?

So I've recently been thinking: When you boil vegetables in water, what percentage of the vegetables' calories will approximately be infused into the water? I know that certain water-soluble nutrients and vitamins will leach into the water, but I'm not sure about calories. Any suggestions?

This is one of those questions for which there will never be a good answer. It would require a science lab to find out. According to the USDA 1 cup of vegetable broth is about 10 calories so basically even if were double or triple that amount it wouldn't really impact your calories unless you drank a really huge amount of it.1

I don't know the quantities, but a friend who is allergic to the water soluble sugars in garlic and onions will tell you that when alliums are boiled some of the sugars he is allergic to definitely leaches into the water because he gets a reaction to the broth even if he doesn't eat the alliums.1
