Back at it again

I’m just getting started again and I did a 7 day liquid fast just to get me in the right head space and also to tame my appetite before eating. I lost 8.8 lbs in 7days i vlogged the experience if you wanna check it out https://youtu.be/vVAoUASaWIE
I’m also looking for new friends on MFP that can keep me motivated and vice versa so feel free to add me 😁

I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, but that scale drop was mostly - if not entirely - water weight. You can consume whatever food you want (in solid or liquid form) as long as you're tracking your calories and you're burning more than you consume. I'm only posting because I don't want others to believe they can lose 8+ lbs of fat in one week by restricting their intake to liquids only. Promoting a diet like that is unsafe and irresponsible.

If you want to consume only liquids, you do you, but people should make sure they're eating NO LESS THAN 1200 calories per day (liquids or solids) for women and 1500 per day for men. That is the bare minimum, and most women can and should consume much more than 1200 calories per day (plus the calories they earn from purposeful exercise).

Please take a moment to read some of the most helpful posts (stickies) at the top of the Getting Started forum. This one, in particular: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10499571/fad-diets-and-general-recommendations/p1. There's a lot of great information to help you get a good mindset for adjusting your diet for long-term, sustainable, healthy weight loss.
