HAES Anyone?

I posted this in the motivation group and have heard crickets . . . maybe this is where it belongs:

This site says fitness not diet, so I'm hoping to find others who participate in Health at Every Size.
Personally I'm logging food (calories) and exercise at the behest of my doctor as a diagnostic tool. And I'd like support in eating healthier foods, avoiding the drive-through and finding ways to get more movement into my life, but I don't want to be barraged with diet talk and other conversations that are likely to make me hate food, (in general or specific items) blame my body for being fat, or other deprecating behaviors.

Be well,
~GB

I'm in the same boat. Long story short, I'm using this as a tool to track my calories and movement for a "science experiment", sort of. I don't care about my size, but I DO care about my health, and I think I've got a thyroid problem that's being ignored because of my weight.
  • I love the idea of Haes and am an avid follower of the blog posts about it. Unfortunately I am already ****ed up and hate my body. I don`t know how to let go of the bad feelings associated with my weight and it is making me really sad. How wonderful that you don`t feel that way.
