MFP deleted some of my recipes

For some reason MFP has deleted some of my recipes. I know that I didn't do it because when I try to reenter the recipe a notification pops up saying that the name that I am calling it already exists. However, when I go through my recipe list it isn't there. I basically had to create four different pancake recipes. The latest one is titled 'pancake 4' because the system has deleted my previous 3 recipes. Why is this happening and is there a way to recover them since the system is saying they still remain in the database. Thanks.
