Has anybody ever gained a few pounds while being sick and taking antibiotics? I have a sinus infection and I’m on day 3 of antibiotics as well as many doses of Sudafed, cough drops, and Mucinex. My appetite hasn’t been the best.

I don't think it is the antibiotics I think it is the sickness causing inflammation and the Sudafed. Your weight gain is water weight and it is temporary.
Feel better and know that the weight will "drain" back off you 3-5 days after your illness has past.3 -
Many medications can cause water retention, the leaflet may mention changes in appetite or it causing fluid retention.
People tend to retain fluid when fighting off infections too.2
