Losing too fast?

Your pretty much the same age, height and weight as me - I’m hypothyroid too! I maintain on around 1600 (not exactly sure as I run a lot and can’t be exactly sure what my calorie burns are). My weight crept up over a six month period to 63.5kg and I prefer to stay around 61kg so I dropped my calories to 1500, expecting it to take a month or two to lose the extra couple of kilos (I also intentionally under estimated my calories burned from exercise by 100-200 3-4 times a week). I dropped those kilos in two very short weeks, and now, another month later still eating at the same deficit, my weight remains stable around 61.7kg. It’s maddening but that’s weight loss for you. Keep tracking, and remember your weight will fluctuate with your hormones.0

@ContraryMaryMary Wow, nearly a sister, and I also probably gained over a similar period: stress at work, getting so used to certain things I should not eat too much of (crisps anyone?).
My last week was a bit slower at -0.2. Pretty much on schedule. Have to see how this week works. I was at a music festival the last weekend and didn't track (how do you track festival food?). The food was quite salty as well and I had to do a 3hr train journey, and didn't really get to my b&b before 4 in the mornings, thus lots of opportunity for water weight I guess. Had a big whoosh last night, so lets see how things continue. I can't work out as I'm having a throat infection at the moment - ever swallowed on food, coughed it up, this ended up sticking to your vocal chords and in your nose? Yeah, that.0 -

Infection = inflammation = water retention
Just so you know.
Feel better soon!0
